Teams are the forefront of an enterprise’s production and operation, the smallest unit of enterprise management, and the cornerstone of safety, quality, efficiency and effectiveness. As "leaders at the frontline and backbone of the team", team leaders are both frontline implementers and on-site managers, shouldering important responsibilities and a glorious mission. To further improve the comprehensive management ability, on-site control ability, team leadership ability and problem-solving ability of all team leaders, the company held the opening ceremony of the "Craftsman Star Flying" Team Leader Development Training Camp on the afternoon of April 14.

Su Hailong, Production Director of Zhejiang Base, pointed out that the current international environment is volatile, the domestic economy is sluggish, the industry is facing shocks, competition in the traditional low-end and mid-end markets is fierce, and while the mid-to-high-end market offers opportunities, it also places higher requirements on enterprises in terms of quality, delivery and cost control. For the transformation and upgrading of the enterprise, the growth of core backbones is needed, and three requirements are put forward:
1. Be customer-centric, break the self-centered mindset, and satisfy customers;
2. Strengthen horizontal collaboration, break down departmental barriers, and form cross-functional combat units;
3. Establish a result-oriented work style, from getting things done to achieving results.
At the same time, three suggestions are put forward for the study of team leaders:
1. Maintain an open mind and take the initiative to embrace changes;
2. Possess active learning ability and use fragmented time to improve weaknesses;
3. Persist in team practice and improvement to implement knowledge and skills. Keep pace with enterprise development and become the backbone of the enterprise.
Deep Cultivation and Empowerment · Strengthen Team Capabilities
Zhang Chaoyang, Manager of Human Resources Department, introduced the Team Leader Development Training Camp from three levels: company, department and individual:
1. At the company level, to support the strategy and cultivate a capable grassroots management team;
2. At the department level, to complete production goals with quality and quantity guaranteed, and build a high-quality team leader team;
3. At the individual level, it is hoped that trainees will become production line management backbones and master lean management knowledge.
The training camp adopts a development concept, which is different from traditional single-point training. Focusing on competence and job responsibilities, it systematically improves capabilities through learning, testing, practicing, evaluating and competitions, realizing mutual learning between teaching and learning, and integrating knowledge into practice. This training focuses on capability assessment to enable trainees to meet recognized and measurable capability standards. It mainly cultivates six major capabilities, including basic office ability, basic literacy of lean, team leader management ability, capacity achievement ability, professional skills and on-site coordination and improvement ability. It encourages team leaders to actively learn and grow, and contribute to the transformation and upgrading of the enterprise.
Unite and Gather Strength · Team Formation
Zhang Jian, Assistant to General Manager, explained the mechanism of the training camp. Team formation was carried out at the same time, with each group guided by a mentor.
Here are also some requirements for all team leaders participating in this training:
1. Attach great importance to and cherish the learning opportunity, devote yourself wholeheartedly to the training, calm down to learn knowledge, methods and skills;
2. Apply what you have learned, closely integrate the management knowledge and working methods learned in the training with the actual work of your own team, draw inferences from one instance and implement them in practice, so as to truly achieve thinking and application through learning;
3. Take the initiative to take responsibility, take this training as a new starting point, strengthen the sense of responsibility, play a leading role, lead team members to work hard, and earnestly do a detailed, solid and good job in team management.
